The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heart finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

The fighters circle momentarily. Crouch darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Crouch steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Heart.
Crouch throws a body punch but Heart moves out of range.
Heart takes a swing at Crouch's ribcage but misses.
Heart missing with a left hand there. Crouch was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Heart bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

It looks like Peter Crouch has been cut.
Crouch dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Heart. That did some damage!
Crouch connects with a single shot there.

Heart throws a head kick but Crouch moves out of range.

Crouch ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Heart moves away.

Peter Crouch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Heart works over Crouch's head and body with a nice combination.
Heart throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Crouch sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Heart takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Heart throws a right and a left that both miss.

The crowd cheers as Crouch lands an impressive looking overhand right. Heart doesn't seem phased though.

Crouch is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Heart.
Crouch tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Heart paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Heart displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Crouch throws out the jab.

A lazy left from Crouch finds it's target.
Heart is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Crouch is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Heart had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Heart ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Crouch throws the kick towards the body but Heart avoids it.

Crouch might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Crouch slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Oh Heart is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Crouch closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Heart out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
