Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeb Springfield!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Eddie Farnsworth and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Springfield connects with a single shot there.
Springfield throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Springfield ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ramirez moves away.
Springfield fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Springfield scores with a takedown into Ramirez's guard.

Ramirez working for a triangle but Springfield defends it easily.
Springfield in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Ramirez lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Springfield!
Springfield is trying to escape the mount.
Ramirez trying to control but Springfield is having none of it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Ramirez looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Ramirez working for a submission but Springfield is keeping him at bay.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Springfield keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Springfield really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ramirez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Springfield wants to hold on but Ramirez pushes him away.

Ramirez has hold of Springfield's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Springfield manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Springfield is trying desperately to improve position.
Springfield is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Springfield tries to improve his position but Ramirez has taken his back! Ramirez has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Springfield tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Ramirez pushes Springfield away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
