Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Metis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Metis comes to the cage accompanied by Right Now - Van Halen. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adam Wilson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metis circles away from the clinch attempt.
Adam Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That was a close round but I would say that Matthew Metis will probably get the nod.
That's time! Metis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Wilson gets caught flat footed, as Metis shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Wilson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Metis is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Wilson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Metis's back instead.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Matthew Metis.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Metis, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
