Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christian Cong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Fertit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cong might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Jibbs - King Kong. Fertit has chosen Thunderstruck as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cong closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cong lands in his opponent's guard.
Cong working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Fertit keeping moving, preventing Cong from controlling successfully.
Cong thows a big elbow that misses.
Cong has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fertit trying to strike off his back.
Cong working some strikes from top position.
Fertit throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Cong postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Cong looking to pass the guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Fertit rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cong moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cong fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fertit throws a leg kick but Cong sees it coming and moves out of range.
Fertit lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Cong can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Fertit and Cong drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Fertit.
