The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bunyan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bunyan swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Bunyan gets control of Silva's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bunyan will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bunyan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
