Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Syd Datsik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edmon Jorjinho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Datsik comes to the cage accompanied by Let The Rhythm Hit Em. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Syd Datsik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Edmon Jorjinho!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Datsik finds it's way through Jorjinho's defenses.
The fighters circling - Datsik throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Datsik throws a series of punches but Jorjinho avoids them all with ease.
Jorjinho moves away from the strike by Datsik.
Datsik getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Jab, jab by Datsik - just one landing.
Jorjinho uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Datsik.
Datsik thows a body shot but no joy.
Datsik misses with a left hand
and Jorjinho counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A looping hook to the body misses from Datsik. Jorjinho does a little dance to reset his feet.
Datsik throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Datsik has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Jorjinho.
Datsik looks to land a left hand but Jorjinho moved out of range nicely.
Jorjinho swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jorjinho takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Datsik lands with an overhand left.
Jorjinho takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jorjinho is rocked!
Jorjinho walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Jorjinho limp body while Datsik jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Syd Datsik!
