Macdonald comes into the arena with Roy jones - Can't be touched blaring out of the sound system. Melvin Macdonald could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Aaron Jaques's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaques uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Macdonald ducks right into an uppercut from Jaques.
Macdonald goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Horrible takedown by Macdonald or perhaps it was just good defense by Jaques which made him look bad.
Macdonald on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Jaques. Jaques obviously looking to wear him down.
Jaques throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Macdonald takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Macdonald wants to clinch
and Macdonald takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Macdonald is rocked!
Jaques scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Oh Macdonald is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jaques avoids a kick to the body.
Macdonald stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Jaques.
BOOM! Jaques lands a beautiful left hook that drops Macdonald. Macdonald tries to recover but Jaques is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Macdonald lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
