Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ruslan Smirnov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Tapout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tapout has chosen Runaway as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Tapout is looking for a choke. Smirnov gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Smirnov manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ruslan Smirnov.
Well Tapout has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
