Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Toast Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Rik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man comes into the arena with POWDERED... TOAST... MAAAAAAAAANN!!! blaring out of the sound system. Rik has chosen The walking dead as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rik shoots in and drives through. Man sprawls well.
Man fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rik manages to avoid it.
Rik blocks a leg kick.
Man ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rik moves away.
A decent looking cross lands there for Man.
Nice sprawl there from Man as Rik shoots in.
Rik wants to clinch up but Man keeps it at a distance.
Man keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Man misses with a wild body shot.
Horrible takedown by Rik or perhaps it was just good defense by Man which made him look bad.
Toast Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Rik.
Man swings and misses with a hook to the body.

It looks like Toast Man has been cut.

Man's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Rik pushes off an throws an elbow but Man leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Man is pressed up against the cage. Rik has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Man down to the mat. Man avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Toast Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Man throws a low kick but it's checked well by Rik.

Rik shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Man is on queer street and Rik is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!

Shane Rik was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
