Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edilson Rubiera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick van Greeven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rubiera might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to ratamahatta. van Greeven has chosen Tom Waits - Telephone call from Istanbul as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rubiera throws an ugly left hook that misses
and van Greeven counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Edilson Rubiera has been cut.

A momentary lapse in concentration from van Greeven enables Rubiera to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. van Greeven manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

van Greeven is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Rubiera has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of van Greeven's face.

van Greeven tries to hold on but Rubiera postures up.
van Greeven is still in real trouble! Can Rubiera finish him?
Rubiera loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have van Greeven scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Rubiera land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Rubiera stands and salutes the crowd.
