Thai's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Town Called Malice. Hogan has chosen Real American as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Thai thumps Hogan with a low kick.
Jab, jab by Thai - just one landing.

It looks like Hulk Hogan has been cut.
Thai swings widly with a right hand

and Hogan moves into the clinch.

Thai escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Muay Thai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thai misses with a shot to the body

and Hogan counters with a left and a right that hurts Thai! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Hogan jumps into full mount!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Hogan lands a big shot to the head and Thai winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

In his post fight interview, Hulk Hogan started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
