PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Craig David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think David might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Who - Baba O'Riley. Adams is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kronik. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams moves out of range of the strikes.
David throws a head kick that misses

and Adams counters with a shoot takedown. David fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
David is trying to keep Adams in close.
Adams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. David swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Adams postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Adams lands a couple of digs.

Adams is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so David is just riding it out for now. Adams eventually gives up the hold.

David shoots for a takedown but Adams saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

David fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Adams.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Adams.

You can see the frustration on Adams's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

David will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Adams tries to close the distance and clinch but David swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
David throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
