Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jensen Ames (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and White Fang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fang comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Wulfamania kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Man, I cannot wait for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, White Fang!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Fang.

Fang pushes Ames up against the cage in a clinch.
Fang lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Fang's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Ames closes the distance and clinches.
Fang wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Ames has Fang pressed against the cage.

Fang is trying to push Ames away but Ames has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Fang is pressed up against the cage. Ames has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fang down to the mat. Fang avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Fang misses with a wild body shot.
Fang throws a leg kick but Ames checks it.
Ames is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fang.

White Fang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fang tries to clinch but Ames is having none of it.

Fang tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ames paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Ames shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ames showed some decent athleticism there.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

White Fang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Fang throws a series of punches but Ames avoids them all with ease.

Ames is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Fang wants to get back to his feet but Ames is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Fang lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ames circles away quickly and effectively.
Fang misses with a wild combination.

Ames is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Fang can't fight it off and eventually Ames manages to take the fight to the floor. Fang looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ames stands up over Fang, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Ames passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Ames tries to move to mount but Fang blocks the move with his legs.
Ames takes a little break here. Fang wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Ames is chipping away with strikes.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fang can do anything to dispel that myth.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ames has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Fang is working to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but White Fang will probably get the nod.

Ames drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Fang gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Ames is looking to take this one to the mat.
A frustrated look appears on Fang's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Fang tries to throw a body punch but Ames avoids it by throwing Fang back against the cage.
Ames keeps control of Fang as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Ames content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Fang misses with a punch on the inside.
Ames drops down looking for an ankle pick but Fang pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jensen Ames. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ames slips a jab and a cross from Fang.
Ames swings for the body but Fang moves out of range.

Fang clinches up against the cage.
Fang lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ames backwards.

Fang is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Fang manages to break the clinch.
Ames misses with a looping left.
Fang tries to clinch up but Ames circles away and keeps his distance.
Ames needs to keep his hands up - Fang had a free shot at his head there.
Fang stalks Ames and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ames's face. Ames staggers backwards, shaken.

Ames gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Fang.
Fang misses with a double jab.
White Fang is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fang tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ames swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Fang. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ames swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Ames closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Fang's guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Jensen Ames wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Fang fails to land with a series of punches.
Fang moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fang wants to clinch up but Ames keeps it at a distance.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

White Fang showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Ames blocks a head kick by Fang.
Ames shoots in but no luck this time.
Fang throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fang tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Ames is able to avoid easily.
Good shot there by Fang.
Ames throws an overhand right that lands on Fang's shoulder, as Fang tries to avoid the shot.
Ames avoids a punch combination nicely.
Fang slips under a jab.
Ames tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fang tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ames manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Fang enables Ames to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fang manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Ames wants to control from the top but Fang keeps moving.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Fang tries to bum rush Ames with a series of wild strikes but Ames uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Fang's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Fang duly obliges.

Fang throws a nice looking combination but Ames bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Fang controls Ames momentarily but Ames frees himself.
Fang can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ames controls the pace.

Ames drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ames jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ames is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fang is just riding it out for now. Ames eventually gives up the hold.
Fang is trying to stand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jensen Ames has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
White Fang is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Jensen Ames overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
