Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hulk Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Cat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hogan comes to the cage accompanied by Real American. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cat doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hogan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Cat fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hogan avoids it really well and circles away.

Cat shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hogan as he avoids it easily.
Hulk Hogan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Cat.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hogan creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Cat takes a shot to the head.
Cat is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Hogan is defending well.

Hogan manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Cat blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Cat has Hogan pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hogan manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Hogan gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Cat.
Hogan digs a right hand underneath Cat's ribcage. Cat let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Hogan lands with a short shot to the head.
Hogan lands with a light punch inside.
Cat drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hogan pulls his leg out and moves away.
Cat shoots in looking for a takedown but Hogan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cat's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Tom Cat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Hogan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Hogan drives through and clinches with Cat against the cage.
Hogan pushes Cat back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hogan dips a shoulder and cracks Cat with a mighty uppercut! Cat falls back against the cage and Hogan unloads with a barrage of strikes! Cat is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Hogan screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Hulk Hogan was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
