And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Berry Fulcher!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fulcher tries to clinch up.
Fulcher looks to land a combination but Kelly avoids it well.
Kelly takes one to the chin there.

It looks like Jim Kelly has been cut.
Kelly explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Fulcher tries to clinch but Kelly is having none of it.
A big right from Kelly misses.
Fulcher uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kelly.

Kelly closes the distance and pushes Fulcher back into the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kelly lands with a short head shot on the inside.
A right hook to the body lands for Kelly.
Fulcher wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kelly lands a hook to the side of the head.
Kelly tries to land knees in the clinch but Fulcher avoids the damage to the body.

Kelly breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kelly connects with a body shot that sends Fulcher's belly button to the back.
Kelly throws a sloppy head kick and Fulcher moves out of range easily.

Fulcher throws a leg kick that is checked
and Kelly counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Fulcher looks winded!
Kelly misses with the combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fulcher takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Fulcher throws a low kick but Kelly avoids it.
Kelly misses with a series of wild punches.
Kelly throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fulcher checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Kelly walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Fulcher tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kelly swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kelly circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kelly misses with a body kick.
Fulcher is looking to clinch.
A head kick misses from Kelly.
Kelly jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kelly bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kelly lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kelly fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Kelly feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Fulcher sprawling to the canvas! Fulcher rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kelly finish him?!

Fulcher is rocked!

It looks like Berry Fulcher has been cut.
Both fighters circling a little - Kelly finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Fulcher is still on wobbly legs! Can Kelly finish him?
Kelly ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Kelly lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Fulcher out cold! Fulcher is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jim Kelly!
Jim Kelly bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
