Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kenshiro Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Itto Ogami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kenshiro Yamamoto has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenshiro Yamamoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Itto Ogami!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamamoto is looking to clinch.
Yamamoto tries to clinch but Ogami moves out of range.
Yamamoto moves in looking to clinch but Ogami pushes him off.
Yamamoto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ogami's waist but Ogami gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Yamamoto off to one side.

Yamamoto drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ogami gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Yamamoto tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Ogami closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Ogami working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

and Ogami counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Ogami.

Ogami is fighting off a takedown attempt but Yamamoto is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Ogami to the mat. Ogami regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Ogami has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Ogami wants to get back to his feet but Yamamoto is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

and Ogami counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Ogami holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Ogami is working for takedown but Yamamoto is calmly controlling the position for now.

Yamamoto has Ogami pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Yamamoto pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Ogami tumbling to the mat - Yamamoto dives into Ogami's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Yamamoto stands and steps away. Ogami gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Ogami rushes Yamamoto and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Ogami breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A combination from Ogami does no damage.
A head kick by Yamamoto misses
and Ogami counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Yamamoto is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Yamamoto drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Ogami tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ogami is trying to stand.
Yamamoto controlling the position easily from mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Itto Ogami dominated that round.

Ogami throws a head kick that half lands.
Yamamoto tries to clinch but Ogami moves away

and Ogami counters with a single leg into guard. Yamamoto didn't expect that.

Yamamoto is working an open guard so Ogami takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Ogami throws a front kick that sends Yamamoto stumbling back into the cage.
Ogami lands a body shot.

Ogami fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Yamamoto, pushing him back against the cage.

Ogami escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Ogami throws a series of punches but Yamamoto moves out of range.
Kenshiro Yamamoto is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Ogami counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Yamamoto escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ogami gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ogami wants to stand but Yamamoto has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Yamamoto has control of Ogami's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ogami regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ogami is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Yamamoto sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Ogami regains full guard. Nicely done.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Itto Ogami showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Yamamoto is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ogami can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Ogami sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Yamamoto lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Ogami is looking to improve his position.
Ogami is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Yamamoto's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Yamamoto's back!
Ogami lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Ogami.
Ogami has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Yamamoto.

Yamamoto covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Ogami controls the action.
Yamamoto trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.

Ogami has got one arm under Yamamoto's chin. This could be trouble... Yamamoto trying to control the other hand but Ogami gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Yamamoto has tapped out! The fight is over!
