And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 17 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Tucker!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tucker doesn't manage to clinch there - Patrushev circles away.
Tucker fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tucker stuffs the takedown.

Patrushev gets the takedown into side control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Tucker tries to improve position but can't.
Patrushev tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Patrushev goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Tucker rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Patrushev's guard! Nice work there by Tucker!

Patrushev has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tucker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tucker got a little sloppy there for a moment and Patrushev has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tucker has managed to get both his arms back between Patrushev's legs - danger averted.
Patrushev looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Tucker puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Tucker is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Patrushev is trying to get back to full guard.

Patrushev tries to roll over but Tucker keeps him under control.
Patrushev gets back to full guard.
Patrushev lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Tucker!
Tucker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Patrushev. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Patrushev looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Patrushev has control of Tucker's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Tucker regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Tucker can't escape the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Patrushev working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Tucker looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Patrushev! Submission of the night perhaps?
