The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Creed fails with the takedown.
Jacobs throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Creed throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jacobs's waist but Jacobs gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Creed off to one side.

Creed drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Creed tries to pull guard but Jacobs won't allow it.

Creed is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Jacobs can't fight it off and eventually Creed manages to take the fight to the floor. Jacobs looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Creed wants to control from the top but Jacobs keeps moving.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Jacobs breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Creed jumps guard but Jacobs stands there with Creed around his waist. Creed gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Jacobs digs a right hand into Creed's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Creed's gas tank.

Jacobs escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A jab lands there for Jacobs.
Jacobs goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Creed is breathing heavily.
Creed walks into a jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jacobs paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Jacobs lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Creed can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Jacobs and Creed drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Jacobs.
