The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mavroeidis scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Mavroeidis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mavroeidis leaves Esimies with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Esimies shoots in but no luck this time.

Mavroeidis closes the distance and pushes Esimies back into the cage.
Esimies is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Mavroeidis to keep the fight standing.
