And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beaver thows a body shot but no joy.
Beaver moves in looking to clinch but Daniels pushes him off.
Beaver throws a body kick that misses

and Daniels moves into the clinch.

Beaver lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Daniels has hold of Beaver's hands but Beaver slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Daniels regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Beaver.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Daniels utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Beaver postures up.
Beaver postures up in Daniels's guard and throws a big left but Daniels blocks it.
Daniels pulls Beaver in to control the position.

Daniels keeping full guard, as Beaver tries to pass.
Beaver must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

We're going to have a standup here because Lyden Daniels wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Daniels misses with an uppercut. Beaver saw that one coming.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Beaver misses with a low kick.
Beaver lands a head kick. Daniels smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Beaver tries to clinch
and Daniels counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Beaver throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Daniels stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Beaver follows into mount!

Daniels is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Beaver loads up with a big shot that hurts Daniels! He's pulled Beaver in close but Beaver has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Daniels survive? More strikes from Beaver and Daniels is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!

Matthew Beaver really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Performance Enhancing Drugs logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
