Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Bomb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Hoehne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bomb comes to the cage accompanied by Living Young Wild And Free. Hoehne has chosen Monster as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Paulo Santos and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoehne slaps away a takedown attempt from Bomb, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bomb throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hoehne fails with the takedown
and Bomb counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Hoehne bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hoehne thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Hoehne is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Bomb's shoulder. That is not cool.
Hoehne wants to control but Bomb is keeping him busy.
Hoehne goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bomb rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Hoehne's guard! Nice work there by Bomb!
Bomb passes Hoehne's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Hoehne is trying to get back to full guard.
Hoehne works his way to full guard. Good work.
Hoehne is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Hoehne is looking for a triangle but Bomb pushes his legs off easily.
Bomb got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hoehne has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bomb has managed to get both his arms back between Hoehne's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hoehne wants to get back to his feet but Bomb is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Bomb is pushing down on Hoehne's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hoehne is fighting to maintain full guard but Bomb has managed to sneak the leg through.
Hoehne pushes Bomb off but Bomb dives into side control.
Hoehne looks winded!
Bomb wants to control but Hoehne is keeping him busy.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bomb stands up.

Bomb gets a clinch.
Bomb is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hoehne is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Bomb to the mat. Bomb regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Bomb has a closed guard, preventing Hoehne from standing up.
Hoehne postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bomb is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hoehne, into his guard.
Hoehne tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bomb stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hoehne swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hoehne pulls Bomb in to control the position.
Hoehne is trying to control the position but Bomb postures up.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Bomb pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hoehne is keeping the position for now.
Bomb won't allow Hoehne to sweep him here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Matthew Hoehne was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Hoehne fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hoehne slips a jab and a cross from Bomb.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bomb has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Hoehne doesn't defend quickly enough and Bomb has managed to lock this one up! Can Hoehne escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Bomb on a fantastic submission victory.
