The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bunga closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Revolver wants to improve his position but Bunga is controlling well.

Revolver tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bunga paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Bunga counters with a nice double leg into side control. Revolver won't be happy with that.

Revolver is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bunga lands a nice short elbow.

Bunga stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Revolver to get to his feet.

and Bunga counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Revolver 's guard now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Revolver working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bunga doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bunga manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Revolver is looking for a triangle but Bunga pushes his legs off easily.
Revolver is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Revolver escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bunga gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Revolver had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bunga is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Revolver Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bunga's back instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Revolver is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Bunga is defending well though. Revolver let's go of the attempt for now.
