Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jerome Diza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hugh Jontop!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jontop lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Diza thows a body shot but no joy.
Diza takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Diza throws a right hand that Jontop ducks under and follows up with a left that Jontop also avoids with ease.
Diza tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jontop was well out of range. Poor timing from Diza.
Jontop looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Diza falls off balance throwing a combination
and Jontop counters with a series of strikes. Diza will be more careful next time no doubt.
Hugh Jontop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diza fails to land with a series of punches.
Diza fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Diza lands a jab to the head.
Jontop lands with a thumping leg kick.
Jontop tries to bum rush Diza with a series of wild strikes but Diza uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jontop connects with a looping right hand.
Jontop throws a front kick that sends Diza stumbling back into the cage.

Jontop misses with a wild combination.
Jontop ducks under a wild hook from Diza.
Jontop will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Diza throws a hook to the side of Jontop's head but Jontop sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jontop slips under a jab.
Diza throws a right hand that Jontop ducks under and follows up with a left that Jontop also avoids with ease.
Jontop throws a series of punches but Diza avoids them all with ease.
Jontop takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Jontop explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Diza is breathing heavily.

Jontop misses with a jab, cross combination.

Jontop drops Diza with a beautiful combination! Diza stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Jontop is looking for the KO!

Diza is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Jontop engages and cracks Diza with a massive lead left hook - Diza tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Jontop is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
