The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Barnett.
Barnett throws a half hearted mid kick.
Daba delivers a nice body kick.
Barnett takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barnett throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Daba scores with a push kick.

Daba throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Barnett's head.

It looks like Grant Barnett has been cut.
Daba fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Barnett takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Barnett throws an off balance right hand
and Daba counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Daba.
Daba throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Barnett stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Barnett closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Daba throws a nice inside leg kick.
Daba thumps Barnett with a low kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A slapping leg kick lands for Daba.
Barnett glances at the clock... BAM! Daba nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Barnett crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Barnett is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bawit Daba!
