The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nazario gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Nazario throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Getcha escapes and throws Nazario's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Getcha wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nazario keeps working.

Getcha has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Getcha stuns Nazario with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Getcha throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Nazario was covering up waiting for the punch and Getcha finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Getcha is looking to take a break and control but Nazario is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Nazario is trying to control Getcha's posture but Getcha avoids it.

Nazario chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Getcha can pounce on him.

Getcha fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Nazario, pushing him back against the cage.

Getcha has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Nazario is trying to keep an underhook but Getcha manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Getcha wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nazario keeps working.

Nazario shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Getcha manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Getcha here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Nazario throws a strike but Getcha rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Iam Getcha overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Getcha drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Getcha jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
