Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Topher Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Samuilov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Samuilov has chosen Flipsyde - Someday as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brown gets caught napping as Samuilov dives in and scores a takedown. Brown manages to retain guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Samuilov connects with a nice short shot to Brown's temple.

Brown seems a little lost for a moment, as Samuilov dominates the positioning.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brown is looking for a sweep.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Samuilov working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Samuilov scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Brown to see if he's OK.

Samuilov looks up at the clock and then as Brown takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Samuilov smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Brown knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Samuilov on the ground.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
It looks like Samuilov might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Samuilov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Brown is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Samuilov has hold of Brown's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Brown seems comfortable defending it but Samuilov has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Brown is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Brown is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Samuilov couldn't care less - he's delighted!
