Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dorangel Vargas!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruger tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kruger fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Kruger looks to clinch
and Vargas counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kruger is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Vargas lands an overhand right.
Vargas swats away the attempt to clinch by Kruger.
Kruger closes the distance and clinches up with Vargas, looking for a takedown. Kruger pushes Vargas against the cage but Vargas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Vargas blocks a head kick by Kruger.

and Vargas cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Horrible takedown by Kruger or perhaps it was just good defense by Vargas which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stephan Kruger. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kruger shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Vargas defends it nicely.
Kruger takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Stephan Kruger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kruger is looking to clinch.
Nice defenses there by Kruger.
Vargas connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Kruger is rocked!

Vargas uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kruger.
Oh Kruger is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kruger dives in and grabs Vargas's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vargas pushes down on Kruger's head and hops out.
Kruger seems to have got his legs back now.
Kruger tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vargas swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Vargas counters with a nice uppercut.
Vargas feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Krugers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Vargas jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Vargas lands a big right hand that sends Kruger crashing to the mat! Vargas stays standing though and waves Kruger back to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Vargas engages and cracks Kruger with a massive lead left hook - Kruger tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Vargas is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
