Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jasper Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Mann!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mann's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Mann duly obliges.

It looks like Jasper Jones has been cut.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mann is defended easily by Jones.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mann cracks Jones with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Jones lands a jab to the nose.
Mann connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Nice uppercut lands for Mann. That snapped Jones's head back.
Jones on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mann. Mann obviously looking to wear him down.
Mann fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Jones is out of range.
Mann misses with a lunging right hand

and Jones counters by moving into the clinch.
Mann lands a nice shot to the body.
Jones is breathing heavily.
Jones misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Jones avoiding damage as Mann throws knees to the body.
Mann presses Jones against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Good body shot from Mann.
Jones looking to stall.
Jones misses with a short punch on the inside.

Mann tightens his grip and picks Jones up, before dumping him to the ground. Jones manages to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Mann with a nice head shot there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mann cracks Jones with a solid left hand.
Mann postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Mann working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Mann trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom.
Mann is pushing down on Jones's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jones is fighting to maintain full guard but Mann has managed to sneak the leg through.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mann connects with a nice short shot to Jones's temple.
Mann looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mann scores with a big shot! Jones's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Jones! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Mann!

An out of breath Mark Mann thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
