Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fighter misses with a jab, cross combination.
Newman misses with a combination
and Fighter counters with a two punch combo.
Fighter scores with a nice right hand.
Newman scores with a jab. Fighter acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
It looks like Another Fighter has been cut.
Fighter misses with a straight left.
Newman throws a front kick aimed at Fighter's knee but Fighter avoids it well.
The fight stays on the outside here - Fighter looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Newman misses with a leg kick.
Nice uppercut there from Newman.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fighter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Newman paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Fighter dives in and grabs Newman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Newman pushes down on Fighter's head and hops out.
Newman catches Fighter with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Newman misses with a few strikes there.

Fighter throws a series of punches but Newman moves out of range.
Fighter tries to score a power double leg takedown but Newman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fighter somewhat.
Newman defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fighter.
Paul Newman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Another Fighter.
Newman connects with a single shot there.
Newman tests Fighter's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A big right from Newman misses.
Newman shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Newman looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Newman winds up and cracks Fighter with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Newman stops Fighter from getting back to his feet.
Newman thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Fighter is trying to stand up here but Newman is controlling him well.
Newman decides to stand and escape the position.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Newman.
Newman lands an overhand right.
Newman thows a left - swing and a miss!
Fighter connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Newman's hands.
Fighter jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Newman pivots, looking for a leg kick but Fighter is out of range and Newman settles back down.
Fighter uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Newman.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fighter misses with a takedown
and Newman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fighter is rocked!
Newman lands an uppercut, right on the button! Fighter tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Paul Newman!
