Stunn has chosen UFC official teme song as his entrance music. John Redding is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redding shoots in for a takedown but Stunn shows good takedown defense.
Redding is trying hard to land a takedown here. Stunn sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Stunn shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Redding is trying to defend but Stunn finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Redding tries to kick Stunn off but Stunn keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Stunn is looking to advance position but Redding won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Redding jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Stunn is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Stunn and Redding has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Redding wants to stand but Stunn has his arm trapped.

Redding wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Stunn, who protects the arm well.
Stunn has one of Redding's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stunn tries to bench press Redding off him but Redding keeps the position.

Redding throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Stunn regains half guard.
Stunn is concentrating on defense, preventing Redding from advancing position.
Stunn tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Stunn is doing well to control the position and prevent Redding from advancing to side control.
Brian Stunn has got the better of the ground game so far.
Stunn gets back to full guard.
Redding won't allow Stunn to sweep him here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stunn can do anything to dispel that myth.
Redding throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stunn works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Redding throws a big right hand that misses.
Stunn wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Stunn is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Redding defends well.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Stunn pulls Redding in close to his closed guard and prevents Redding from doing any damage or advancing position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Stunn has his foot on Redding's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Redding works his way back into a safe position though.

Well Stunn has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Brian Stunn decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
