Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mario Fry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ogustivimus Amavimus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ogustivimus Amavimus told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mario Fry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ogustivimus Amavimus!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amavimus shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fry manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Amavimus working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Fry looking to control.
Amavimus stands and steps away. Fry gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Amavimus has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Fry.
Fry cracks the inside of Amavimus's front leg.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A head kick misses from Fry.
Fry throws a nice outside leg kick.
Amavimus throws a hook but Fry avoids it easily.
Fry throws a head kick but Amavimus moves out of range.

Fry thows a body shot but no joy.
Amavimus throws a series of punches but Fry moves out of range.

Ogustivimus Amavimus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fry looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Amavimus tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Fry throws a head kick that misses.
Amavimus thows a left - swing and a miss!
Fry scores with a leg kick.
Amavimus on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Amavimus steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Fry. That one must have hurt.
Fry ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Amavimus moves away.

It looks like Ogustivimus Amavimus has been cut.
Fry swings for the body but Amavimus moves out of range.
Fry lands with a thumping leg kick.
Fry thumps Amavimus with a low kick.
Fry lands a big head kick that sends Amavimus tumbling to the mat! Fry takes a step backwards and waves Amavimus back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Amavimus is rocked!
Fry finds Amavimus's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Amavimus flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Fry lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Amavimus will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mario Fry!
Mario Fry decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
