Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Damion Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Chavez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hugo Chavez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Black gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Black is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Chavez can't fight it off and eventually Black manages to take the fight to the floor. Chavez looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Chavez looking to hit a scissor sweep but Black is one step ahead there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chavez looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Black slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Chavez uses his free foot to push down on Black's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Black.

Black knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chavez on the ground.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Chavez with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Chavez unloads with some shots from mount but Black bucks and avoids them well.

Chavez can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Black is looking to escape.

Chavez has hold of Black's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Black manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Black is trying desperately to improve position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Black is controlling an arm, preventing Chavez from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Chavez swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Black is now in Chavez's guard. A big mistake from Chavez there, giving up the dominant position!

Chavez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Black's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Damion Black will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Chavez is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Chavez has control of Black's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Black regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Black tries to lock up and control but Chavez gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Black is trying to escape the mount.
Chavez wants to control the pace but Black is squirming around nicely.
Black tries to hold on but Chavez postures up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

That's time! Black's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Black throws a head kick that misses.

Chavez gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Chavez is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Chavez had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Black is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Chavez Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Black's back instead.
Chavez takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Black rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Black is refusing to be controlled, as Chavez sits in half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Black makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Damion Black is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Chavez takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Black scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Chavez is letting Black control him for a moment.
Black's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Black swings around for an armbar but Chavez sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Black's guard.

Chavez wants to work for an arm triangle but Black is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Black is trying to control but can't.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Chavez is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Black is just riding it out for now. Chavez eventually gives up the hold.
