Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcin Held (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Aldrin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aldrin is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Next Episode - Dr. Dre, Snoop Dog e Nate Dogg. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Held shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Held keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Aldrin tries to kick Held off but Held keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Held content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Marcin Held.
Held tries to score a power double leg takedown but Aldrin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Held somewhat.

Held shoots in for a takedown but Aldrin shows good takedown defense.

Held closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Aldrin to the mat! Aldrin manages to get full guard.
Held content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Aldrin is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Held is controlling him.
Held postures up in Aldrin's guard and throws a big left but Aldrin blocks it.

Held stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Held throws a sloppy head kick and Aldrin moves out of range easily.
A jab lands there for Aldrin.

Held drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Aldrin is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Held is controlling him well.
Held cracks Aldrin with a big elbow.

Held stands up and beckons Aldrin to his feet.
Robert Aldrin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Held moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Held moves into the clinch.
Aldrin tries to break free but Held pushes him back against the cage.

Held pulls guard successfully.

Held has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Aldrin off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Held throws a head kick that misses.
Held is breathing heavily.
Held tries to close the distance and clinch up but Aldrin swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Aldrin scores with a hook.

Aldrin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Held stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Held looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Aldrin!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Held looking to control and managing it successfully.
Aldrin wants to try and get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Held postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Aldrin looks a forlorn figure.
Held lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

That's time! Held's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

A decent looking cross lands there for Aldrin.
Marcin Held is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Horrible takedown by Held or perhaps it was just good defense by Aldrin which made him look bad.

Held closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Held lands in his opponent's guard.
Aldrin wants to stand up but Held is controlling him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We're going to have a standup here because Marcin Held wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Aldrin misses with a low kick.
Held fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Aldrin avoids it really well and circles away.

Aldrin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Held drives through and clinches with Aldrin against the cage.
Aldrin wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Aldrin wanted to stand there but Held had control of the position.
Held lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Aldrin!
Held tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Held seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Aldrin for as long as he can get away with.
Marcin Held overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Held shoots in and drives through. Aldrin sprawls well.

Held tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Held fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcin Held. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Aldrin attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Held takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Aldrin moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Aldrin lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Held backs up against the cage.
Held tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Aldrin swivels and escapes.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Aldrin misses with a kick to the body.
A right-left combo lands from Aldrin.

Held has Aldrin up against the cage in a clinch.
Held drops down looking for an ankle pick but Aldrin pulls his leg out and moves away.
Held shoots in looking for a takedown. Aldrin tries to sprawl out of it but Held keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Aldrin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Aldrin throws a nice looking combination but Held bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Held is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Aldrin lands with a nice body punch.
Aldrin fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Held checks it well.
Marcin Held seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Aldrin connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Aldrin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nice sprawl there from Aldrin as Held shoots in.
Aldrin throws a head kick but Held moves out of range.
Held has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
The fighters circle momentarily. Aldrin darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Nice uppercut there from Aldrin.
Aldrin throws a leg kick but Held sees it coming and checks it nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Held is defended easily by Aldrin.
Aldrin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Held looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Aldrin scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Aldrin connects with a body shot that sends Held's belly button to the back.
Aldrin drops Held with a naaaaasty hook - Held is in real trouble here! Aldrin dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
