Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Grandmaster Red (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Joe Brown was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Red throws out the jab.
A decent looking cross lands there for Red.
Brown throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Red pivots, looking for a leg kick but Brown is out of range and Red settles back down.
Red throws a sloppy head kick
and Brown counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Red on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Brown. Brown obviously looking to wear him down.
Brown throws a body punch but Red moves out of range.
Brown moves out of range of the strikes.
Red throws out a powerful jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Red connects with a good right hand that stumbles Brown. Brown circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Brown on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Red lands with an overhand left.
Red takes a head kick and keeps coming.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brown with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Red to score with a decent uppercut.
A swing and a miss from Red.
Brown throws the kick towards the body but Red avoids it.
Brown takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Red misses with a leg kick.
Red with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Red swings for the body but Brown moves out of range.
Red tries to score with a low kick but Brown moves his leg out of the way.
Red tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Brown.
Brown uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Red.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A slow jab from Red misses its intended target.
Brown throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Red.
A head kick misses from Red.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Red lands a nice shot that snaps Brown's head back.
Brown throws a right hand that misses
and Red counters with a stiff right hand.
Red takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Brown takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Brown scores with a head kick.
Red misses with a hook. Brown ducked under it nicely.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Brown! Red is out on his feet! Brown rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Red is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Red is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
