Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Asazel Winchester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geddy Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Asazel Winchester!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Geddy Lee!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Winchester closes the distance and clinches.

Lee is fighting off a takedown attempt but Winchester is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lee to the mat. Lee regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Winchester decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Winchester shoots in for a double leg but Lee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lee misses with a low kick.

Lee tries to keep at a distance but Winchester has taken the fight into the clinch.
Lee wants to take the fight to the mat but Winchester manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Winchester.

Winchester has Lee pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Winchester pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Lee tumbling to the mat - Winchester dives into Lee's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Winchester stops Lee from standing up.
Winchester is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Lee is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Winchester throws a big elbow that misses.
Winchester looking to sit in guard and control but Lee gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Winchester is adopting a defensive guard.
Winchester could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Lee wants to stand and escape but instead Winchester has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lee looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Winchester passes into side control.
Lee is trying to buck Winchester off.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Winchester tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Lee is looking for a sweep.

Winchester stands up and beckons Lee to his feet.

Winchester fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lee, pushing him back against the cage.
Winchester tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Lee avoids it.
Winchester has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lee is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Winchester is stalling here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Winchester misses with a punch to the body.
Winchester goes for a takedown attempt but Lee pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Asazel Winchester. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lee feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Winchesters jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Winchester is breathing heavily.
Winchester takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.


Winchester is rocked!
Lee leaves Winchester with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lee throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Winchester crashing down! Winchester tries to stagger back to his feet but Lee just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Winchester asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Geddy Lee!
