Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hesus Kashka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasha Hulskan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hesus Kashka could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sasha Hulskan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sasha Hulskan!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hulskan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kashka makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

and Kashka counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Kashka is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kashka seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hulskan for as long as he can get away with.

Kashka is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Kashka is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Hesus Kashka.
Kashka throws a head kick that misses.
Kashka swings for the body but Hulskan moves out of range.

Kashka lands a high kick to the side of Hulskan's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Kashka dives into guard, looking to finish.

Hulskan is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hulskan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kashka gets to his feet - Hulskan follows without any prompting.

Kashka throws a head kick that misses.
Nice takedown defense from Kashka. No joy for Hulskan on that attempt.
Hesus Kashka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sasha Hulskan.

Kashka takes a swing at Hulskan's ribcage but misses.

Hulskan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kashka pushes Hulskan away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hulskan gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Kashka is breathing heavily.

Hulskan is working to tighten is grip on Kashka's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Kashka has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hulskan is really squeezing tight and eventually Kashka passes out! Hulskan breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
