Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kato Munechika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bob might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Notkea rotta - Itä meidän. Munechika has chosen Requiem for a Dream as his entrance music. Kato Munechika has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kato Munechika!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Munechika.
Bob circles away from the clinch attempt.
Munechika fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Nice defenses there by Bob.
Munechika changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Kato Munechika seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Munechika stuffs the takedown.
Munechika fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bob has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Munechika feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bobs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bob is desperately trying to improve his position but Munechika has a good base and remains in mount.

Munechika is landing with some decent strikes but Bob is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Munechika might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bob haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Munechika is trying to control the action in half guard but Bob is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Bob tries to roll over but Munechika keeps him under control.
Munechika seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bob does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kato Munechika hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Munechika. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Munechika is on top in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bob working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Munechika doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Munechika manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Munechika, as that shot connected.

Bob takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

It looks like Kato Munechika has been cut.
Munechika thumps Bob with a low kick.
Donk. Munechika catches Bob right on the button with a cross.
Bob shoots in and drives through. Munechika sprawls well.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Kato Munechika wasn't active enough on the ground.
Bob shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Munechika as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Bob. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bob walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Munechika works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kato Munechika comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Munechika has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
