Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hammer Longbird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brodie Sinclair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sinclair has chosen as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longbird misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Sinclair counters with a stiff right hand.
Sinclair slips under a jab.
Longbird looks to land a left hand but Sinclair moved out of range nicely.
A good leg kick by Longbird.
Sinclair misses with a straight left.
Sinclair ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Longbird moves away.
Longbird connects with a single shot there.
Sinclair uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Longbird.
Longbird misses with a straight right.
Longbird dodges the punch combination from Sinclair.
Sinclair tries to bum rush Longbird with a series of wild strikes but Longbird uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Longbird throws a looping overhand right but Sinclair ducks down to avoid it.
Sinclair throws the left hand but Longbird avoids the punch easily.

Sinclair takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Longbird misses the body punch
and Sinclair counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Sinclair falls off balance throwing a combination
and Longbird counters with a big head kick but Sinclair shrugs it off.
Sinclair connects with a single shot there.
Longbird keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Longbird swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Sinclair decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sinclair drops an elbow to the side of Longbird's head.
Longbird gets back to full guard.
Sinclair lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Sinclair loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Longbird is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Sinclair throws a strike but Longbird rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Sinclair is looking to sinch up a triangle. Longbird throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Sinclair's body to avoid the submission. Sinclair has instead reached around Longbird's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Sinclair arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
