Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Schwarz Bruder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Power kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Schwarz Bruder has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bruder sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Burns somewhat.
Burns looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Burns shoots in and drives through. Bruder sprawls well.
Schwarz Bruder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dick Burns.
Bruder lands a jab to the nose.
Burns dives in and grabs Bruder's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bruder pushes down on Burns's head and hops out.

Burns throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bruder tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Burns is in Bruder's guard.
Burns working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bruder's head.

Bruder knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Burns on the ground.
Burns is looking to work some ground and pound but Bruder has wrist control.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Burns accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Burns loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Burns throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bruder works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Burns accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Burns prevents Bruder from getting back to his feet.
Burns missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Burns postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Burns postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Bruder utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Burns passes into half guard.
Burns frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Burns sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Burns has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Burns throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Burns has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bruder's face.
Burns breaks from Bruder's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Poor strikes thrown by Burns there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Bruder is squirming around, avoiding Burns's attempts to control the action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Burns cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Burns thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Bruder is in a horrible position here. Burns smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Bruder is rocked!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Oh Bruder is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Burns! Bruder is hurt baaadly! Burns is firing away with more strikes - Bruder is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Dick Burns was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
