Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bach Sully (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams has chosen Death Blooms By Mudvayne as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jamie Adams!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sully clinches up against the cage.
Sully stalling.
Sully is working for takedown but Adams is calmly controlling the position for now.
Sully jumps guard but Adams turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Sully obliges.
Nice elbow from Sully.
Adams misses with a hook from the clinch.

Sully turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sully manages to end up in side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Sully has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Sully tries to clinch up but Adams circles away and keeps his distance.
Sully looks for a takedown but Adams sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bach Sully. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sloppy strikes from Adams. Those never looked like landing.

Sully ducks under a wild hook from Adams.

and Sully counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Sully.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Adams.
Sully is trying to pull guard but Adams turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Adams has Sully pressed against the cage, preventing Sully from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Sully gets control of Adams's arms and successfully pulls guard. Sully will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Adams wants to control from the top but Sully keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Adams makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Adams missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Adams throws a big right hand that misses.
Sully utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Adams has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Sully is looking for a triangle but Adams pushes his legs off easily.

Adams gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Sully avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

and Sully counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

We're going to have a standup here because Bach Sully wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Adams jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Sully fails with the takedown
and Adams counters with a stiff right hand.
Adams throws a right and a left that Sully avoids nicely.
Adams throws a body punch but Sully moves out of range.
Sully throws a wild hook but Adams just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Sully gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Adams raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
