The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mojaus darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

It looks like Dirk Blaylock has been cut.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Mojaus throws a head kick but Blaylock moves out of range.
Mojaus misses with a head kick.
Mojaus tries to close the distance and clinch but Blaylock swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Mojaus dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Blaylock. That did some damage!

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Aimo Mojaus hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mojaus. Blaylock does a little dance to reset his feet.

Mojaus throws a leg kick but Blaylock sees it coming and moves out of range.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Mojaus lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Blaylock is trying to push Mojaus away but Mojaus has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Blaylock has Mojaus pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Blaylock pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Mojaus tumbling to the mat - Blaylock dives into Mojaus's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aimo Mojaus dominated that round.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Blaylock counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mojaus thinking.

Blaylock catches Mojaus with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Mojaus forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
