The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bubba fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Bubba swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Scritsmier counters with a stiff right hand.
Scritsmier thuds a left hand into Bubba's body.
Scritsmier throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Scritsmier lands with a nice body punch.
Bubba dives in and grabs Scritsmier's left leg, looking for a takedown. Scritsmier pushes down on Bubba's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Noah Bubba. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bubba has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Scritsmier.
Bubba is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

An inside leg kick from Scritsmier misses.
Scritsmier scores with a sloppy right hand. Bubba should have avoided that one.
Scritsmier cracks Bubba with a left hook right on the temple and Bubba goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Scritsmier lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Bubba is OK!
