Pacquiao comes to the cage accompanied by Thunderstruck. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Junior Pacquiao!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jean Charles Skarbowsky!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skarbowsky pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Skarbowsky throws a leg kick that misses.
Pacquiao misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Skarbowsky.
Pacquiao throws a right hand that Skarbowsky ducks under and follows up with a left that Skarbowsky also avoids with ease.
Skarbowsky scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Skarbowsky looks to land a combination but Pacquiao avoids it well.
Skarbowsky tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Skarbowsky misses with a low kick.
Skarbowsky keeps Pacquiao at a distance using the push kick.
Pacquiao smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Skarbowsky throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Pacquiao shoots for a double leg takedown but Skarbowsky sprawls well. He's pushed Pacquiao's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Pacquiao shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Skarbowsky is trying to defend but Pacquiao finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Pacquiao is thwarting Skarbowsky's attempts to control the position.
Skarbowsky is looking for a sweep. Pacquiao is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Pacquiao wants to control but Skarbowsky is keeping him busy.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Skarbowsky can do anything to dispel that myth.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pacquiao tries to control but Skarbowsky wriggling away.

Skarbowsky wants to hold on but Pacquiao pushes him away.

BOOM! Pacquiao connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Skarbowsky is looking to get to half guard.
Pacquiao lands with some strikes.
Pacquiao fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pacquiao sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Pacquiao has hold of Skarbowsky's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Skarbowsky manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Pacquiao fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!


Skarbowsky is rocked!

Pacquiao throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pacquiao unloads with some shots from mount but Skarbowsky bucks and avoids them well.
Skarbowsky avoids a series of strikes thrown by Pacquiao.

Skarbowsky is still in real trouble! Can Pacquiao finish him?

Pacquiao unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Skarbowsky wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Pacquiao celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Junior Pacquiao!
During a confident post fight interview, Junior Pacquiao thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
