Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zedicus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Heroes. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Smith fails in his attempt to clinch.

Jones feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones drops back looking for a leg! Smith is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Smith manages to kick Jones off! Jones jumps back into Smith's guard.

Jones drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Smith dives on top into guard.

Jones is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Smith is just riding it out for now. Jones eventually gives up the hold.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Smith makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Smith.
Jones is pushing down on Smith's leg trying to pass to half guard. Smith is fighting to maintain full guard but Jones has managed to sneak the leg through.

Jones is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Smith defends it well.
Jones wants to pass to mount but Smith is defending the position.

Jones is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Smith doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jones.

Jones throws a right hand that Smith ducks under and follows up with a left that Smith also avoids with ease.
Smith is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jones throws a head kick but Smith moves out of range.
Jones fails to land with a series of punches.
Jones closes the distance and lands a one-two.

and Jones counters with a head kick.

Smith is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?

Jones misses with the combination.
Jones cracks Smith on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Smith falls backwards against the cage. Jones follows up with more strikes that drop Smith to his knees. Jones keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Smith! This one is all over!
