Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Guigui Borgne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Lou da Vinci and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill throws a lazy right hand but Borgne sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hill scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Guigui Borgne has been cut.
A leg kick checked by Borgne.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Hill enables Borgne to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hill manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Hill has a closed guard, preventing Borgne from standing up.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hill pulls Borgne in close to prevent any damage.
Borgne would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Borgne wants to stand and escape but instead Hill has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Hill is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Hill stands and steps away. Borgne gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Borgne shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hill pinned against the cage. Hill gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Borgne shoots in for a takedown but Hill shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and Hill connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Guigui Borgne. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Borgne shoots in looking for a takedown. Hill tries to sprawl out of it but Borgne keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hill manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Borgne fails with a takedown attempt.

Borgne takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hill tries a head kick but it misses.

Hill lands a big head kick that sends Borgne tumbling to the mat! Hill takes a step backwards and waves Borgne back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Borgne is rocked!
Borgne walks into a left hand.
Oh Borgne is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Borgne shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hill counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Hill counters with a crisp right hand that drops Borgne! Hill lets Borgne back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Hill lands a slapping body shot.
Borgne is breathing heavily.
Borgne avoids the head kick by Hill.
Borgne seems to have got his legs back now.
Hill scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Borgne doesn't seem bothered though.
Hill dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Borgne. That did some damage!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Borgne is defended easily by Hill.

Hill cracks a nice hook into Borgne's ribs.

Hill lands a left and a right that send Borgne crashing to the mat, dazed. Hill thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hill finds Borgne's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Borgne flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Hill lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Borgne will be OK.
