The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
pavicevic tries to bum rush Nowak with a series of wild strikes but Nowak uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
pavicevic looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nowak is fending him off so far but pavicevic persists. Nope, Nowak circles away and we're back to standing.
Horrible takedown by pavicevic or perhaps it was just good defense by Nowak which made him look bad.
pavicevic throws a right hand that Nowak ducks under and follows up with a left that Nowak also avoids with ease.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by pavicevic!

Nowak cracks pavicevic with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! pavicevic looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Nowak finish him?

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nowak darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! pavicevic's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Nowak before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
