PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Krovitzky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tex Bighorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krovitzky comes into the arena with Bliss N Eso - Addicted blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Krovitzky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tex Bighorn!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krovitzky cracks Bighorn with a right hand to the side of the head.
Bighorn throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bighorn throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bighorn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A punch combination from Bighorn misses.
Bighorn scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Krovitzky doesn't seem bothered though.
Krovitzky tries to clinch up.
Bighorn throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bighorn throws a series of punches but Krovitzky moves out of range.
Bighorn pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Krovitzky back to the cage. Bighorn follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bighorn connects with a right hand. Krovitzky shakes it off.
Krovitzky tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bighorn tries to move into range but Krovitzky moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Krovitzky tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bighorn paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nice uppercut lands for Bighorn. That snapped Krovitzky's head back.
No joy there for Bighorn, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sloppy strikes from Bighorn. Those never looked like landing.
Bighorn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bighorn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Krovitzky stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Krovitzky is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bighorn misses with a few strikes there.
Bighorn throws a body punch but Krovitzky moves out of range.
Krovitzky dodges the punch combination from Bighorn.
Bighorn tries to bum rush Krovitzky with a series of wild strikes but Krovitzky uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Krovitzky takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Oooh a lovely combination from Bighorn sends Krovitzky down but not out. Bighorn dives into side control looking to finish.


Krovitzky is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Krovitzky is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bighorn is controlling him well.

Bighorn has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Bighorn throws a shot to the body.
Bighorn throws a right and a left that both miss.
Krovitzky displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bighorn throws out the jab.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Bighorn has cracked Krovitzky with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Bighorn lands another huge swinging hook and Krovitzky tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Krovitzky, before Bighorn can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tex Bighorn!
