Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Derrick Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wiley Coyote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Coyote's choice of entrance music: Bang Bang Bitch!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Derrick Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wiley Coyote!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coyote fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Williams avoids it really well and circles away.

Williams shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Coyote napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Williams tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Williams has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Coyote tries to bench press Williams off him but Williams keeps the position.
Williams tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Williams tries to advance to mount but can't.
Williams trying to control the action but Coyote is working from the bottom.

Williams misses with the ground and pound.
Coyote is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Williams goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Coyote has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Williams but great work by Coyote.

That was a close round but I would say that Derrick Williams will probably get the nod.

Nice sprawl there from Coyote as Williams shoots in.
Coyote tries to close the distance and clinch but Williams swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Coyote throws a body kick that misses.
Coyote moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Williams throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Coyote rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Williams moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wiley Coyote seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Coyote is defended easily by Williams.
Coyote throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Coyote gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Williams's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Williams might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Williams got a little sloppy there for a moment and Coyote has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Williams has managed to get both his arms back between Coyote's legs - danger averted.

Williams manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Coyote on his heels. He'll look to pass Coyote's guard now, I'm sure.

Coyote had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Williams defends it easily.
Coyote is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Williams is looking to stand up but Coyote won't let him.
Coyote is trying to keep Williams in close.

Coyote is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Wiley Coyote was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Coyote wants to clinch but Williams slips to the side

and Williams counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Coyote's guard now.

And that's the end of the fight!
Derrick Williams showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Williams, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
