The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godluck shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Godluck was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Malenko can't escape the position.
Godluck moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Malenko has worked his arm free - good work by Malenko!
Malenko struggling a bit here.
Godluck is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Malenko knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Godluck looks winded!
Godluck goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Malenko rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Godluck's guard! Nice work there by Malenko!

Malenko won't allow Godluck to get back to his feet.
Godluck really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Malenko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Godluck is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Malenko lands a couple of digs.
Malenko controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Malenko won't allow Godluck to get back to his feet.
Malenko advances position into side control!
Malenko tries for a kimura but Godluck is defending well.

Godluck is not content to let Malenko control the position.
Godluck is trying to buck Malenko off.
Malenko working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Godluck avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Malenko.
Malenko tries to advance to mount but Godluck denies him.

Godluck is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Malenko is controlling him well.
The strikes coming from Malenko are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Malenko moves into full mount!
Godluck bucks Malenko off and manages to get back to his feet!
Godluck tries for a takedown but Malenko sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Malenko changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Godluck looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Godluck is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Malenko has just dragged him back down to the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Malenko has an Americana. Godluck didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Malenko is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Malenko hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
