Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diago Palichini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ben ahr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ahr avoids a punch combination nicely.
ahr blocks a head kick by Palichini.

Palichini clinches up with ahr and pushes him back against the cage.
ahr avoiding damage.
Palichini wants a takedown.

ahr breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

ahr looking for a guillotine here but Palichini defends easily.

ahr is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

ahr tries to land a sweep but no joy.

ahr is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Palichini is looking to stand up but ahr won't let him.

ahr looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Palichini has picked ahr up and slammed him! ahr can't keep hold of the triangle and Palichini manages to pass to side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on ahr's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Palichini wants to control but ahr is keeping him busy.

Palichini stands up and we're back to a striking position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Palichini takes the fight into the clinch.

Palichini wants the takedown. ahr is fighting it off but Palichini persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in ahr's guard against the cage.
Palichini is breathing heavily.

ahr is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

ahr has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Palichini can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Palichini could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

ahr manages to escape and get back to his feet!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

ahr throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Palichini has his hands clasped together but ahr breaks the hold and Palichini is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by ahr!
